Stephen Branch Tippins, Jr.

Steve Tippins graduated from the University of Georgia in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in History. He received his Juris Doctor from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School in 2009.

During law school, Tippins clerked for The Law Office of J. Christopher NeSmith, in the Northern Judicial Circuit, as well as Preston & Preston in the Waycross Circuit. He also served as Secretary and then President of John Marshall's Federalist Society chapter. After passing the Bar in 2009, he went to work for the Superior Court in the Piedmont Judicial Circuit, serving two years as staff attorney/law clerk for the Honorable T. David Motes (Chief Judge), Joseph H. Booth and Currie M. Mingledorff II.

Tippins self-syndicates an occasional political column throughout various newspapers in the state, entitled "The American Tory," has been published in The American Conservative (www.amconmag.com) and has appeared on various local and national political programs, including "The Mike Church Show" on Sirius/XM Radio and "Do Facts Matter?," with Professor Robert J. D'Agostino on Radio Sandy Springs

Tippins is a member of the Federalist Society and, while, attending the University of Georgia , he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha's Nu Zeta chapter.
